Just bought a combo blower/vacuum from Sears. It's part of their 19.6 volt portable tool line. Used the blower part on the bike last weekend. Just ambient temp air but it pushed the water away. If you already have one of more of this tool line, it's the way to go. Blow off your bike then go vac out momma's car with out changing tools or plugging in anywhere.
I bought a "Air Force Blaster" on lin for around $125.
Best money ever spent. Cuts detailing tim down drastically. It gets in those places where you usually have drips that leave water marks.
I have a bike dryer. I call her Sweetie. For a bottle of wine and a tickle, she does a fantastic job. And since I already have her in the inventory, there is no additional overhead. No additional electric either. The towels are recyclable, so it's good for the environment. As a multi use device she has no equal. I'm fed, clothed, house is clean, never at a loss for good conversation. Even though I got the real expensive model, it is the best investment I ever made.

Reason: Propriety
I have both Air Blaster dryers, 4 HP and the hand held. I swear by both. 4 HP stays home and the hand held comes on the road when I trailer. Leaf blowers are fine, but are louder and doesn't get in as close. If u got the money, its worth it..... if not, the walmart 30 dollar leaf blower will be fine. I am lucky enough to be able to have one, well two. Its like the jacks...... I have a Pit Bull........ love it..... others have the 100 dollars sears and love it.. Its what you can afford, 20 years ago when the kids were small... I was riding a Honda 650 and washing it with dish washing soap and drying with a bath towel....... Today I ride a 27,000 Ultra and dry it with a 230 dollar "leaf blower" LOL In fact, now that I think about my kids gave me the hand held, about 80 dollars for last Father's Day.
