A buddie of mine wears a spur on his right boot when out riding,he is a lone biker. The spur is for cowboys of the old west,it is on the right boot because that was the leg used to start the bike. He said he read about it somewhere.
Everyone I know uses a Gremlin Bell.
What type of other Biker Customs do you guys know of or practice?

 

A couple 'little purple pills' and condoms travel with me when I'm riding solo....
But the idea of a spur on the back of my boot conjures up visions of
scratched and cut seats and saddlebags

 

I have a buddy that rides with a spur on one boot. I never thought to ask him why. I'll have to ask him about that next time I see him

 

I also hear Green Bikes are bad luck,what other little traditions/superstition do you guys know of?

 

Spurs are an old biker thing...from quite a few years back...not sure if they were posers or not?

Honestly, I read about it in a book written a while back...the spurs that is.

 

I try not to let my helmet touch the ground...
