Default 88 TC Vibration

i came across a cherry 04 FLHT over the winter that was pure stock with no promblems. Since then i have added a set of older Screaming Eagle slip-ons, and recalibrated the carb. othere than that the motor is stock. My problem is now the bike vibrates the fairing bad at 1700-1800 rpms. Anything below is fine, and anything above that is fine. The bike runs extremly well without any issues at all other than this. What have i done to create this problem? Thanks

So if i pull the outer fairing off will i be able to see the inner fairing brackets? Or are you referring to the chrome bracket on the outside of the inner fairing?

Yep, pull the outer fairing. Do a search on here. Been lots of posts about the brackets failing. There's a better bracket available now, if that's the problem.

I would check to be sure all your motor mounts are tight, the ones on the heads too.

The silver brackets are not the actual fairing brackets they are just supports. The actual fairing mounting brackets will be painted black. Once the outer fairing is off you can't miss them.

Brackets appear to be fine and the motor mounts tight. Could this be a tuning issue? Maybe be a conicedence, be it started about right after the time i put the pipes on and redone the carb?

Pipes could be in a bind sending excessive vibrations through the frame. Check all the frame mounting points including at the rear of the pipe
