Howdy,
Has anyone sucessfully programmed a security pager with the smart siern II security system on an 07 model bike? The instructions in the manual tell you to use the button on the key fob to arm the system while the pager is in it's programming mode. However the 07 models don't have a button on the fob making the instructions invalid.
If you have been successful getting your pager programmed for an 07 I would greatly appreciate a quick note on HOW you accomplished this elusive task.
I was wondering the same thing. The instructions say if the alarm is already armed, it could take up to 60 seconds for the pager to find it. I haven't installed it yet to see what happens.
Corn-
I tested my pager on a friends bike and it works perfectly. I then dug into my bike and found the dealer had installed the Smart Siren I instead for the Smart Siren II.
Well, I am back at the F'ing dealer next week. This is getting OLD

Just wanted to see if anyone figured this out yet?
I have the Pager that i used on my 05 Sporty, with the Siren II. But since i don't have a button on my 07 fob wondered how you'd program it now. I was just going to switch it from one bike to the other.
Are there any new directions on the pager for an 07 model bike?
Alexcue,
Same instructions works great:
1) Get your fob
2) Turn to ignition
3) Move fob away from bike
4) Following instructions, get pager ready to recieve the programming
5) Turn bike back to off
6) The alarm will beep and flash the lights, it is ready to program your key now
Give me a shout it if doens't work and i will walk you through it on the fone
