I have an 07 Streetglide...took it to a local shop to have the 11" stock air shocks changed to 13" progressives...also had a 1 1/2" lowering kit installed cause I like the lowered look...on the ride home heard a rubbing sound when riding over rough areas in the road...took it back in to find that the bolt on the lowering kit was rubbing the inside of my bag....any ideas on how to fix?? Or will I not be able to have the lowering kit on...thankx ; )

 

so you removed the shorter factory suspension and replaced it with longer travel suspension but re-lowered it again?..

 

Yes...I wanted the lowered look with a better ride...it used to hit pretty hard w the 11's on

 

Shorter bolt. Or turn it around. Or saw off the protuding threads.
