Another gearing question
So I understand the 30 tooth trans way but not so much on the front engine sprocet way. So if you do it the other way you will lose your compensator. My question is what exactly does the compensator do. If I do lose my compensator does my engine make more noise? I know slot of people here have done the baker or Andrews with new belt, but alot of people have said doing the front sprocket is alot easier and cheaper but you lose the compensator. If I do it the other way I'm not worried about my speedo cause I have the tts. I have talked to one indie and he said he can swap the front out in 1 hr labor. Also when you do re gear does it change the sound of the exhaust. Thanks
