I have the Harley two stage touch up paint.
It has a gold metal base and a red clear. Use the gold to fill the chip. Lots of layers to bring the chip up to near factory paint level.
Then use the red as a one, two max, coat. Reason I say is because the first time I did it I used one layer of gold and three layers of red and it is TOO red.... doesn't match.

Got a scratch on your red hot sunglow paint? I have been to the dealer and tried to get some touch up paint for red hot sunglow. Well guess what, most dealers don't stock touch up paint. It has to be ordered, and like many other HD parts, it is on back order with no release date.
I found a way around this obstacle at Pep Boys. If you go to the paint section look for "SCRATCH FIX 2 in 1" for import vehicles Part # HA 00955.
This is the exact same color as red hot sunglow. There is a 2 piece applicator ( a roller ball tip for fine scratches, and a small brush for paint chips and deeper scratches) that can repair most paint blemishes.
Costs under $7.00

I got it at the dealership and it was in stock.
By the way, I have a couple of Red Hot Sunglo saddlebags (just the lowers, no lids) for sale if anybody has scratched or wrecked theirs. We put streatched bags on her bike.
