Trust me, I know the merits on safety gear, the bike was cold. I was having to move her around, my Cycleshell is on enough of a slope that forces me to back in now.

Trust me, I wear full gear when riding, can never be too careful.

Anything with wheels is crazy here. What is weird though, there are not more crashes. Coming from Jacksonville, FL where it is accident upon accident going/coming to/from work. It is not like that here. Wierd.

Sweet ride, congrats. Trim those antennas by loosening the set screw, remove the antenna, cut 12--18 inches off the bottom, re-insert, tighten set screw. I find no difference in reception after doing mine, ' course I only have radio antenna. Thanks for your service, and BE SAFE.

What about the horn, have you got used to that being permanently on and parking absolutely anywhere??

Well, considering I drive a Suburban here, I can get away with about anything. Sometimes the road width gets a little disconcerting, but I can drive through Fiat sized pot holes with no problems.
