For those of you who follow Harley racing, Doug Horne had a blowoff incedent at 200+. He walked away with a hand and shoulder injury. It says alot for safety equiptment and the hand of God touching him. Doug Races nitro bikes for the AHDRA and ProStock Motorcycle for the NHRA.

Damn! Gald he is OK. The indy who does my work (Bob "Rat" Taft) is his crew chief.
Doug is REAL lucky! I was at the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis when Elmer Trett had a "blow off" while making a demo pass at well over 200mph on a fuel funny bike. He wasn't as fortunate as he lost his life.

Doug will be back up and running in a few weeks. He's a pretty tough young man, and has a lot of talent. I always thought Trett was one of the best riders out there.

yep its crazy i love all top fuel stuff live the cars and bikes are unreal unless you have seen it in person one cant even understand what top fuel racing is like you would have to be crazy to ride a top fuel harley or a nitro funny car
