Last year I road from SoCal to Tombstone, AZ. It was 110 deg most of the way. I was very comfortable with my evaporative cooling vest and mesh jacket on. At every fuel stop I would resoak my vest and down a bottle of Gatorade. I also drank a lot of water while riding.

Having lived in both the "dry" heat of the desert SW and the downright wet heat of the SE I'll take the SE. Humidity keeps the prune effect at bay
Either can be stifling, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and ride on!

Lived in Vegas and Phoenix. Although it's not especially comfy, I can't remember ever leaving a bike in the garage because of heat.

Ive riden in 121* in stop and go traffic on the 10 and 17 in Phoenix, did it suck? Not as bad as sitting in a car with the heater running to try to keep it from overheating!

All of you mention air temp. What about bike temp. How hot is too hot. When temps reach 90's here in IL my bike will get up to 240 on the oil temp gauge. I cant imagine what your gauges get up to when the air temp gets to 115 degrees.

Same here, I carry a "long sleave light cotton shirt" to put on while riding. It buttons down the front so it's easy to put on and off. The people I ride with give me funny looks while I'm putting it on, but I'm not sunburnt when the day is over like they are.

I also drink water all day long. I have a Hog Trough setup on my lowers.

From May 15h to Sept 15th it's 95 degrees everyday with humidity in the 65 and higher range. Yes it's HOT here.

It does get un-comfortable around 100 degrees with the high Humidity.
I just stop for a beer more often...

You know it's hot outside when you first turn the key on and the OIL temp is already off the peg first thing in the morning!!!!
