Section 8-16 (turn signal lamps) of the 2006 touring service manual on pages 8-43 through 8-45 will show you how to disassemble the lamps in order to put the bullets on.
It would be nice if someone carried the manual locally, Harley dealer told me a week. I was hoping someone already did this that could help rather than wait for book.

Ashmarc and Dawg know! I needed to use my manual too. The manual should be the first thing you purchase for your bike. Pay's for itself in routine maintenance info alone.
I know you put them on your bike and it was alittle deep, I know your not being a dick just new to this forum and i'm still trying to figure it out! Thanks for your help.

I gave you a great location to buy a manual pretty quickly ..
.now you just want someone to "walk" you through it?
I've done this job and it's rather complicated to type every procedure.
I wish you the best of luck in getting this job completed. I AM NOT trying to be a dick ..but a little effort on your part goes a long way.
