I just picked up an 07 flht. 1st time harley owner. bought the flht because i liked the look and it was the cheapest of the touring bikes. Bike only has about 300 miles on it. I test road a RG at bike week before i bought the flht. Nice ride but i wanted the "look". I won't be getting rid of the flht anytime soon but ..... If i were going to do it again .... I think i'd go road glide. The motorcycle guy in me who doesn't give a damn about anything but how the bike rides, runs, and performs thinks the Rg is a better bike. I can really feel the wind on the handle bars on the flht.
Don't sweat cruise control, you can ad it to any of the touring bikes. I've got the kit already and will be installing it this week.
