Default switch housings

I have a few small paint chips in my original switch housings. Has anyone tried to touch them up with paint? Is the color a flat black, or perhaps a satin black? I want to avoid the work of removing them and painting the entire switch although that is probably the best thing to do. Any ideas? Thanks.

Can't help with paint color, but if you post what model/year bike you have, someone can probably send you a set of housings for the cost of shipping. I have a set in perfect condition (IIRC, the EG Classic version) and will send them to you for shipping.

Take em off and do it the right way the 1st that way you don't have to mess with it in the future. But then again you could just ignore it and ride.

I have a 2007 Road King Custom. I know the right way would be to remove and paint but I am looking for a quick fix (i.e. lazy). Thanks for the responses.
