and ANGRY ...today i started the beast...GMRPerformance sent me a really nice high-end kit and man does it sound like it....hits hard...angry soundin...an that was just on the stand....did my first heat cycle...tomorrow gonna load the GMR map and heat cycle it again...monday another time...tuesday gonna get some miles on it....in the meantime i'm re-workin a SE backing plate so's i get what i want from it...thanks to TexasBowhunter for the tips on measurin...had to shut it off upon initial start cause the lifters werent pumped and they ticked way too much for me & curtis...we rechecked the pushrods...busted it off agin and they calmed down...it was an easy build and a real good time with curtis...got to hack on stuff...break & mangle tools...not be bothered by the office...good stuff....all yall buy one, ya hear [8D]
Glad that it is running. I will be buying my 98" GMR setup this winter when it's too cold for riding. I'll also be installing a 6 speed. Let us know what it makes on the dyno.
