Default searching for help

I own a 2003 electric glide classic with about 35k on the clock. Resently the bike will shut off just as if the keyswitch was turned to the off position. The lights, gauges, and motor all shut off but I do not loose the radio presets or clock. Once the bike cools down(10 min.)it will restart.Others have suggested the main breaker is the cause, but the wiring diagram has the radio memory fuse fed after the main breaker. This would have the same effect as lifting a battery terminal.I have replaced the keyswitch and inspected the wiring connections as much as possible, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have lost my confidence to venture very far from home. Thanks to all who care!

Check the battery terminal first and make sure they are clean and tight. Have the battery load tested at a local shop or parts store first. After that and you're still having the same issue, turn it over to someone with troubleshooting equipment and capabilities. If you end up being a parts changer to find the problem, you may pay more in the long run.
