if you need to remove a bit, then go to lowes, home depot, most hardware stores and get a few feet of the clear vinyl tubing and you can siphon out what you need to in order to get it to the level it needs to be at. 1/4" clear vinyl, also known as tygon tubing works fine. i use tygon tubing to transfer fuel if needed also. the nice thing about clear tubing is that you can see the fluid and this allows you to keep it from getting in your mouth.

When too much engine oil fills the crankshaft in your car, the oil becomes aerated and is whipped into foam. This is caused by the high rotation of the crankshaft. Foamy oil cannot lubricate your car well, and in many cases it will cause oil flow to halt completely, overheating your oil and causing loss of oil pressure. The engine then becomes starved for lubrication and may potentially lock up. Same holds true for a motorcycle.

Sorry didn't feel like trying to explain it myself.

Not to mention that this is a dry sump system so the crank isn't spinning in the oil pan like a car engine....

+1 'XACTLY! If you overfill it, it does what it is supposed to do, blow into your air cleaner, drip down onto the cam cover and blow back all over the exhaust and bags when you get moving. It's all in the design boys and girls, don't fret, it ain't rocket science it's a Harley. If some overfill could cause any damage, the lawyers at HD would already have a big warning sign in the manual about overfilling.

Oh, I don't know. Sort of fun if you get away with it.
