Default engine building gurus...

I am chasing a top end noise and want to set the clearance on the rockers. The problem is I am not sure where to find the proper shims for the job. The parts guys in the dealerships look at me like Im crazy and even the independent shops that Ive tried say that they havent done that since shovels.

Can someone give me an idea where to look for the shims?

thanks
