My bike has not been hot enough to activate the EITM (rear cyllinder cut-off) yet, I don't think. I would imagine the engine will run a bit rough when it does come on, maybe a drop in idle speed...Am I at least in the ballpark? Any other indications that it is on besides the cruise control indicator lamp (when throttle is rolled forward when ignition is off).
There is an unmistakable change in the idle when it kicks in. If you're not sure if it's turned on, just roll the throttle all the way forward with the ignition turned on. If the cruise light comes on green, then it's engaged. If it comes on yellow, it isn't. Release the throttle again and roll it forward again and wait for it to turn green. Also, the smell changes. It is still pumping fuel into the cylinder and it changes the smell of the exhaust. It's too bad it only works when the bike is stopped. It would be handy for traffic crawling.

To enable/Disable EITMS the engine has to be stopped.

When the rear cylinder shuts down, it shuts the fuel injector off, therefore it is not 'pumping' fuel into the cylinder.
Please do not post info if you don't know what you are talking about
Couldn't agree more...some people have ideas about things that are based on hearsay and not facts. Some people even make assumptions and post them as facts as well. Problem is that in their minds, they know what they are talking about. Heck, we all do that sometimes. Just an observation, not trying to put anyone down.
same here.....just like when someone is asking about a certain law in a certain state, that's where all the "I thinks" come out instead of the facts.that's why Dragnet did so well
