Here is a link to the DIY section on all the details to cut a windshield. It is easy, cheap, and it will not hurt your shield. I have cut several with no ill effects. https://www.hdforums.com/m_312103/tm.htm
I have two stock shields at home and will most likly try one to see how the cut turns out - love to try new things... Also plan on trying one of zookhd shields... Need to do some measuring to see what I really need... thanks for the links and advice guys..
I went with a 10" smoked Fast Aire shield. He has a website fastaire.com and also has an Ebay store where he lists them $4 cheaper to compete on Ebay with a screen name of fastairone. He is also a site member here, being renoglide. I paid less than $40 bucks with shipping and had it in two days. Better than cutting it for me. Plus I still have stock to put on if I want it back on.
