Default Need a little Help Please

Greetings!

I was wondering if someone could give Me a hand with a question I have with a Jardine Ultimate Backrest I would like to get for My 2004 Road King Custom. I have been reading through the forums and seen a few people who use this but when I go to order it I found out there are actually two different models of this backrest.

VN1500E Vulcan Classic 96-01

and

VN1500G Vulcan Nomad 98-04

Could someone please tell Me which model of this backrest will fit on My 2004 Road King Custom? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Keep the Shiny Side UP!

These backrests were made for Kawasaki bikes. But there are alot of Harley riders who use them on their touring bikes because of the comfort. A previous post I found in this forum had this to say...(I can't remember the poster)

"Jardine Ultimate Backrest Fits all 1996-2008 Touring models."

But it didn't give the model of the backrest in which he spoke of. I would assume it would be the "VN1500G Vulcan Nomad 98-04", but I wanted to make sure before I order a almost $400 item that it will work.

Cool

I hope you'll be ok after the bolt of lightening comes down and strikes you for trying to put a Kawasaki part on a HARLEY!

LOL @ Alabamaslammer!

I hope the Harley gods will have mercy on Me. But in My defense...it's not a Kawasaki part...it's a Jardine part.
