OK, so I might have a deal pending with a non-HD dealer where I can trade in a polaris side by side we never use for a used HD they have in stock. Here's the deal....
2008 Electraglide Classic. 11k miles. asking 19999.00 (too high IMO). White in color (which I don't like, but I guess I can change that later).
I am a little bit up against a wall because I want a touring bike to go with my softail for long distance jaunts and an opportunity to trade an ATV in on one is a little rare.
What say you all, the touring experts that you are....how much would you pay for this bike?
Thanks for the help in advance...and I hope to spend some time over here on the "couch" side of the forum in the near future!!!
I guess you would have to figure how much you could sell the ATV for privately. Plus the hassle of selling it in this economy and weigh that against what they will give you for it.
Whats the difference between a salvage title, and a rebuilt title? If i dent the fender on my truck, then have it repaired , is it considered rebuilt? If not ,why is it that way with a harley?.,,
That price is probably high. I bought a 2008 EGC from Pikes Peak Harley in January 2009. 9,000 miles, ABS, cruise, security. Paid $18,500 for it. Bikes were going for more back then, so that price is probably at least $3000 high.
