I hate theives with a passion. A couple of years ago, a group of young jerks broke into my boat and stole it out of its slip. They had it overnight, picked up some of their friends and were partying on it. I asked everyone in my marina I could find if they'd seen it, and someone who had just come in from a fishing trip told me it was about 4 miles away, out on one particular fishing spot. I talked the marine patrol into going out to check, and sure enough, it was there, and the little pri*ks were arrested. The leader got 18 months in prison over that, and his main accomplice got a year in county jail. I hope they catch the d-bag that stole your baby.
I rode it to work , worked a 16 hour day, came out at 3:30 am, and it was gone, from the back parking lot of work ,just outside the shop , I was no more than 50 yards from it all night long.
Does your building or other buildings in the area have suveillance cameras that were working? If so, I'd suggest the tape be pulled and given to the police dept. for their review and might help catch those responsible...
Sorry it happened to you. Hope you will get a lojack unit for the next one, or if yours comes back to you.
Oh he** no!! I would NEVER put a Lojack on anything I own. Once that bike or car is stolen, I never want to see it again. I've seen the condition of some theft recoveries, including a Mustang 5.0 'vert that I had. That thing was thrashed! I'm glad my insurance totaled it, 'cause it never would have been the same again.
I would much rather get a nice crispy check from the insurance company and find a nice used bike with most of the mods I'd put on it anyway. If my SG would get stolen, I'd replace it with a '07 Road Glide most likely...
Sorry to about that man! I too had a scoot stolen right out from under my nose in California back in the late 80's when I was in the Navy. I don't know where you work or how many are employed there, but I would be suspicious that a co-worker might be involved or at least an acquaitance of a co-worker.

Less than 300 people work where I work.....I hope a coworker had nothing to do with it.
The miracle ride for Riley Childrens hospital was yesterday, it could have been a pro........a lot of bikes in town this weekend.
