I have noise from the front E3 at 50 to 60 MPH, it only makes the noise when going straight, if you lean to the right or left and the noise goes away. I am running 2 oz of Dyna beads and keeping the tires at 40 to 42 psi. I will check the tranny bearing as well.

I have the same issue with a harmonic hum from the front tire at speeds between 50 and 60mph as well. I originally thought the sounds was due to removing the front fender bumper. It wasn't!
I wonder a few things with this problem;
What about running it in the opposite direction? Has anyone done this? Is the sound still present? And most importantly since these are directional tires, what new issue would this cause running them the opposite rotation from the way it is stamped?
I have over 10,000 on mine and haven't noticed a thing...some times this forum can do me harm than good...I spent more money than ever on a bike since I joined, and checked things out which ended up being a rabbit trail ...now I will be listening for tire noise. lol...serenity nOW.
Well...Sheet...I have two E3's showing up at my door step tomorrow...I hope I don't have the same problem...Ultra61 you are completely correct this damn forum has cost all of us a lot of money.

I also wanted to mention that the extra beads seemed to have helped. I have been running about 38-40 psi. I too think the tires are fine - some of the issues listed here so far may be caused by other things or even a bad tire which is possible but not likely. I'm going on a trip from MI to Key west and leaving this Saturday - we'll see how they perform!

Not meaning to do any harm here. I can tell you that I have put enough miles on many bikes to know the difference between tire noise and a wobbling mud grip sound. What I have is not normal. Just got a bad tire, thats all, but don't want to gamble on another one.
