Talking I did it...I'm 4 for 4
I officially broke the 4th and final brace in my fairing yesterday morning. I have already broke both braces under the speakers and one upright. Yesterday I managed to break the other one.








When I broke the other one, I did my own "aftermarket" fix



1/8" steel bent and a rubber electrical grommet to absorb some vibration





I guess I'll be fabbing up another one...

That's some nice fabricating Krazy, Probably hold better than the factory. That was one of the service bulletins on my 08 UC. Dealer replaced all four fairing mounting brackets under warranty. Nice work Dude..

I ain't broke a one yet! Of course I don't have a compensator and I think that's part of my unscientific theory!

This still a problem or has the issue been fixed on '09 and '10?

They've upgraded the brackets and braces to -96A and -96B pn#'s.
