Tube or tubeless?
I DON'T have tubes!!
Problem with fix a flat liquid is it can be hard to get in....If it does work and you want to save tire you need to clean it out.
I use a plug system that has never failed me yet and i carry a pump...I guess if i had to use it because i had nothing else..well then no choice is no choice...But i like plugs...
I have actually seen a liquid flat repair on an SUV tire. It worked on that tubeless tire, so I assume is will also work on tubeless motorcycle tires. I told my wife (she rides) that her next bike, which she now has, would not have tubes for obvious reasons. Not the least of which was having to transport her tube tire motorcycle to the shop, twice, due to flats.
Well I can tell you one thing, NEVER EVER put fix a flat in your tire. IT WILL for one eat at your rim aluminum or steel, also it destroys your tire from the inside out. I work for Bridgestone Tire co. and we do not recommend that stuff in any tire. Good luck...
I do not plan on salvaging tires with fix-a-flat in them. I simply want to get to the nearest H-D shop ASAP to have the tire replaced. Rims can be cleaned after the flat tire is removed.
It won't work in tubed tires!!!!!! That's why I think people that get spoked wheels these days are, well, unenlightened.
Riteway, what is your plug system?
I cannot count the number of times that I've heard "Spoked wheels must have tubes". In fact two HD salesmen, at two different dealers, tried to tell me this. My 2009 RK has tubeless spokes, as did my 2006 Dyna. So, tubeless spoked wheels have been around for at least 4 years.
As for fix-a-flat... I would not use it for the same reasons as stated by Riteway.
