Fix a flat
I've heard of a couple places that seal the rim with a silicone type sealent. One even mentioned he used rhino liner to seal his. The only drawback is when the spokes need tightening, the seal will be broken. I'd like to give it a try though.
The wheels I have are the profile laced, chrome option. I am not sure if the standard wire spoked wheels are tubeless or not. If they are it is probably written on the sidewall.
Seems to be a pretty common misconception. I didn't mean to call you out, Camping. I only quoted you because it was in this thread.

I went ahead an bought a Night Rod Special instead, so the RK is moot now. But I try to stay up with technology in motorcycles. No way I'm going to be on the side of the road with a flat tire, when I can Fix-A-Flat it, and be on down the road. Been through it, and I ain't doing it again. And if that means buying a new tire because of it, well so be it.
Stay on the road.
It'll work six out of seven times. With tubes. The seventh time the valve stem had torn so nothing short of a new tube would make the repair. The other six times it was nice to be able to get home. And a new tube is not that expensive if you take the wheel in.
