Default Road King windshield replacement

I'm looking for options to replace my RKC windshield(plastic only). Mine is beginning to show a little wear and I was curious as to what options are available. The stock height is fine for me I just don't have any experience with what type material I should be looking for such as acrylic, polycarbonate or whatever. Opinions welcome!

If you like what you have just get an OEM replacement shield I think they're around $100. I wouldn't go with anything less than polycarbonate.

My bike is the same year as yours and the windshield is also starting to show some wear. When the time comes I'll just order a new HD one to replace it. I'll also order it online if it's available there.

Price was around $160.00 dollars and much better quality then the stock HD.

right after I posted, I found Longrideshields has a road king windshield for $109. It has a slight flip on the top. Anybody tried this one?

OK, after looking around a little, I think I'd like to try one of these flip shields. I see that clearview and LRS make one for my bike. For those that have either, whats your feedback?

I got the Clearview for mine. I got the 17" with the re-curve so I could see over the top of it a bit better. I found one of their "blem" shields in stock. They circled the scratches on the protective film. If they hadn't done that, I never would have been able to see them. Wound up paying right at $100. Thicker material than stock too if that matters to you at all.

Anyone know about the "f4 custom" windshields?
