Alright, experience and opinion time. I'm looking for anyone that has the 2010 FLHX with true dual mod. Wondering what you went with, and how the power held up switching to true duals. It's one of the first things I'm doing when I get back from Afghanistan, and I want to try to have all my parts waiting for me when I get home so it's like Christmas in my Garage!
I placed an order with Fuel Moto yesterday and got their dyno tuned mufflers, I'll be mounting them on the V&H power duals. Ill report back once I get them installed.
I really enjoy my Rhinehart true duals. I do know that I could pull a bit more performance on the dyno with a 2 into 1 with my setup but I love the sound and look of my Rhineharts.
btw 108 HP 104 TQ and there was more left on the table from my current setup/tune that will be picked up at my next tuning date.
I just ordered Rineharts, if you havent decided by the time i get mine installed i'll let you know what i think. Keep your head down until then!
Funny Rolling, I read your post about the rhineharts right before I decided to check back on my post, and I was almost convinced to buy the same. I'm also getting some PYO MBBars, but in either 14 or 16". Not to worry though, I got a silver SG, so they won't look at all alike! I liked the V&H monster Ovals too... these are my top two choices at the moment.
The monster ovals are quiet. There's a thread or comment (somewhere recently, in the million posts per day on here) where the person thinks they are too quiet. I've heard them in person, i'm not a fan either.
the power duals are great, and i have the hi-output muffs - not too loud (like my Big Radius on my NT), not too quiet - just right.

I got the 10" PYO because Phat performance had them in stock and i don't need to change out the cables or wires to install.
Ive heard lots of rineharts and told myself if i ever bought a bagger that those would be the pipes i get. Just did'nt care for the looks or the price at first! After finding some new ones from an ebay store for $735 i jumped on them, they had two sets but this morning when i got up and checked them out one set was sold and they only had one set left so i used the last of my Iraq money to get them. (Got back in Nov) I was holding on to the deployment money while i was PCS'ing from Bragg to Polk to do my OC time here at JRTC but now that we're settled i decided it was time to get this bike sounding like a Harley instead of a moped! What ever you do do not buy a SE nightstick! If you ride with a bunch of other harley owners you will be the bunt of every joke. They have fun with me knowing i hate the thing and that i'm burning up from the cat in the headpipe. Do yourself a favor while you have the extra deployment money and get the best that you can afford and don't look back. Just get a complete set up and not slip ons, IMHO.
Just bought a 2010 Street Glide. I put on Vance and Hines Dresser Duals with Twin Slash Rounds. I love the sound and look. Didn't care for the 2 into 1 look on the 2010's. I should have a video up soon.
