I just picked up one of these much cheaper than PM or RSD and looks awesome. I already had the SE back plate. The Exotx filter and cover were $189 shipped. I am trying to find a bolt cover for the banjo bolts. http://www.exotx.com/lug.htm

I have the S&S, as well, on my 03 Road King. I have always loved the style of the S&S air cleaner. Have had S&S carbs on my shovel and a Softail. My Road King is fuel injected but it still seems to work great.
I'm glad to see some S&S mentioned, but they seem to get less "love" than the SE and Ness Stage 1s. Is there a noticable loss of performance from the S&S or is it just an asthetic issue?
I've got Ness Big Sucker with the CVO cover, look great and work well.
If i could, i'll change for that : http://www.wimmermachine.com/_html/Intakes.htm
you can choose your own style and it have a killer look!!!
I run the crossroads maliair with detonatorII breather, high quality billet aluminum with high air flow 400 cfm...you can get all black, satin, chrome or a combination.... made in the USA unlike arlen ness cheap China filters.great product and customer service at crossroads, Brian Klock at klockwerks has used em also. http://www.crossroadsperformance.com/cp/?cat=13
I went with the HD simple round cover, I did not and still do not appreciate the open filter look on my ride but I hated the football even more, I have a K&N filter similar to the big sucker and a SE wrinkle black base unit. The cover could be powder coated and any of a number of Derby Covers installed to dress it out.
I got the arlen ness big sucker with the stock "football" cover on it. To me the football is sort of iconic, seeing a harley without one is like seeing a chevy without a bowtie.
