Funny you should mention a cigar holder since I am addicted to those what use to be cheap backwoods 'Honey' cigars.I have racked my brain trying to think of something..have cut aluminum cigar tubes down, put slots down the side so you could pull it back out when needed. Just cant nail this one down yet...
I have one of the plastic cigar minders that I use in my work car. It works great and doesn't damage the cigar. How it would work clipped to the handlbars i am not so sure. Threre is nothing preventing the plastic clip from spinning around. The metal clip that dawg had the link to looks like a better design.
I use a Cigar Caddy that carries about 8 to 10 cigars. Just fill it up and throw it in the saddle bags. You never know when you may run across a new or old friend thats needs a smoke.
I normally use a small portable humidor that will hold 25 cigars. It has the little foam pad that you moisten and velcro to the top of the cedar box. Not great, I know, but good for a couple of weeks if need be. Plus it sits nicely in the bottom of my trunk.
That clip looks cool. Hey Capt, how about some sort of holder that hold a metal tube so you can stoke it up then drop it in to hold for a while then take it out and relight?

I keep a few in one of the new oval-shaped Crystal Lite containers...fits in a saddlebag, guardbar bag, or windshield bag, and provides enough protection.
