I walked into Chillicothe HD (Ohio) this morning and they have received 9 Ultra Limited's; I've never seen the one that has the paint that changes colors. Not so sure I like it but they had red and blue ones also. Salesman said they are on sale for $23,900 but acted as if that is negotiable. That seems like a hell of a deal for what all you get with the Limited.
Yea know what you mean with that changing color color they have, cant really get into it. Harley dealers here in Md.never have sales. They have done rebates on end of year bikes but never lower msrp. I want one of those limited big time, waitn till I get my SG paid for by end of summer 1st. I will have to bookmark this to check w/ your dealership when Im ready to buy.
You know....I put tons into my fatboy and when I got it right where I wanted it......it was fun to ride, but something was missing.......it was the thrill of the build.....so I sold it and now I'm about to start the build with the Limited.....and I'm ecstatic.....it's much more fun to build than it is to have already built....at least for me.....:-)
I was at a dealer today trying to make one happen but we remained further apart than I could except. First time I rode an 09/10 bike, thought it did ride/handle better than my 08.
Smooth running, better exhaust note compared to my 08 stock. I'll bet that cat makes it nice and warm on the 'ole right leg!
I think I'll have to put off a new bike a while longer though, would love to have the new frame and wheels but I dig my bike enough still to not make it worth the money.
My stage 1 Limited ran circles around 20 other bikes with various builds this past week in Eureka Springs. It is an extremely competent bike out of the box. With a few simple modifications it'll run away from most anything.
I love my bike and I really love the engine, how strong and rideable it is as well but after riding a friend of mine's '09 CVO ultra last week, I really miss the comfort of an Ultra. The Limited has just enough over the standard Ultra to make me head that direction. Rumors of an all black '11 Limited sounds more appealing to me than the two tone '10's but I'm sure the $ difference will be bigger as well.
I had a friend that runs a Chevy paint garage price painting my SG Tequila Sunrise yesterday. He made me a quote that may have me leaning towards keeping my SG and just adding a tour pack, 180 rear tire kit and some Progressive 940's and calling it good for another year or two.
I really like the '10 Tequila Sunrise CVO SG but that bike does not have anything mine doesn't already other than a nice paint job.
