Well, it is finally here. Today is supposed to be DAY ONE of the 14 day (max) and 7000 mile (+/-) HOKA HEY motorcycle challenge ride. Most will know the ride begins in Key West, FL and ends at Homer, AK and that you will travel by an undisclosed route. I know that if I was not involved in the the care for my USN disabled daughter I would be on the ride participating even though the internet seems to link the founder with other questionable issues in the past. I do truly wish the best of luck to all that are participating and I will be searching for update info daily..

 

Other than just because it's there, I can't understand a challenge like that. I wish everyone the best luck and hope eveyone returns home safely.

 

I am doing my own challenge starting 7/5. Going to west coast and back on a 21 day, 7K+ ride. Even that requires an average 350 mi a day. Good luck to all on the HOKA HEY.

 

I have started a thread in the General Chat section last night. I am tracking my buddy Mark (Iron ***) whereabouts in this challenge via satellite through out the challenge. There are sevral other members from HDF participating also, including Masterblaster and a couple of others.
They left Key West at 0643 this morning, some 750 strong.
