is that the 4300, 6500 or the 8000 one?
Also confirming you installed that in the 2 bulb Harley headlight?
Where did you install the ballast/transformer box?
On the day I picked up my bike and started looking her over I noticed a problem.
The headlight adjustment for up/down on my '06 RK Classic was busted. The screw you turn screws into a plastic bracket which is riveted to the metal headlight housing. The rivets on my plastic bracket had given way and I only had one adjustment - aimed 6' in front of the bike. Two pop rivets later and all is well.
You might check this if you can't get the light to adjust.
Its the 4300. Thats the brightest/whitest light. And yes it the 2 bulb Harley light. Heres a couple of shots of where I mounted the ballast and transformer. One on each side of the brackets of either side of the radio. I think the hardest part of the install was snaking the power wire under the tank.

I bought this light too and had the same thoughts. I will be getting a HID kit for the H11 low beam and a kit for the H8 high beam and really light up the road.
I'd get the H11 first and see if you think you'll need the high beam. It just barely makes a small spot in the middle of the low beams patteren. Only time I use it is to power up the garage door opener now. LOL
But let us know how it works if you go for it. Never too much light I guess.[sm=smiley16.gif]
I haven't tried it yet but the stock H11 can be put in the high beams location with a little dremel work on the bulbs key. Maybe the next time I have the fairing off....
You can also replace the H11 with an H9 as per Daniel Stern
55 verses 65 watts = more light

I wonder if i should just have the Dealer, put the original headlight back on ?? I put the Dual on before i picked up the bike. Is the stock better ??? THANKS
I presume they are the best ?? I have heard good things about Piaa also...Do you think these will help ?? Where is the best place to buy bulbs ?? I don't even know what model bulbs i need. I am very close to just putting the stock light back on. THANKS
PIAA and a few (very few) others have H11s. Silverstar isn't one of them. Hers a few who do. HOEN Sylvania Daniel Stern
One of the biggest down side to this new light (besides it sux) is that you can't readily find replacement bulbs. Another reason I swapped out to the HID bulb. You guys that opt to keep the stock bulb remember to get a spare if your doing any touring. You wont find them at the local auto parts store in West Bumbeldump Arkansas.
