When I had my bike dyno'ed and the SEST installed, my dealer gave me a white box with the VCI box inside it. The box is labled 32109-08B. I can not find that in the Screamin Eagle catalog, only part 32109-08A. What is the difference?
Should I be entitled to the CD with the software? I think I payed for it. Also, what is the smart tune software? Is that an add on to the base module?
If I order the cables and the smart tune, I should be able to hook the VCI box up and get readings and then continue to tune my bike? it should be compatible since I have a 2010 and the oxygen sensors in the pipes.
Please help me understand what I actually have and what I need.
when you buy the SEST you get the VCI box for that 350 or 450 bucks that is it. You need to buy the cables and the software disc. The smart tune is just a function of the vci box and if you have the cables and software you can make that part work using your computer.
if you have the sest the software and cables are well worth it you can check codes, view and record data look at engine temps sensor readings most everything. Neat stuff and i don't even know what iam doing lol. And the software can and cables can be used to hook up to any bike that has a race tuner as long as they have there vci you can hook up and look at stuff and or modify there stuff.
