Hi! all,
Just want to intruduce myself. I am knid a new to this forum & my HD. Hopefully get to know some of you guys & learn some new things on Electra Glide Classic. I have been riding metric (Roadstar) for a while & decided to go with HD this time.
Would greatly appreciate your input on great sounding exhaust for touring bikes.
Welcome Lester!! Congrats on thr new bike! As for your exhaust question... go to some local bike nights, look & listen at which exhausts float your boat! Ask alot of questions, bike riders love to talk about their bike! Exhaust systems are expensive so you want to make sure to get what you like the first time. All that said, I love my Rinehart True Duals! Also, if your gonna hang around here... GAURD YOUR WALLET guys around here love to help ya spend your money!
Welcome aboard, great forum. The sites search engine will help you find the answers to most of your questions. A large majority of topics have already been posted and will contain valuable insight to your questions.
Welcome aboard......I joined in 08 (after purchasing an 08 RKC) and am a former Roadstar owner myself from 2001 to 2008. Suggest you use the search feature in touring, chat and the tech exhaust board. Tons of info. Then thoroughly confused throw a dart at the list you like!
Have fun and enjoy the changes! What year Glide did you buy? That will make a difference in your pipe and/or muffler options.
Welcome aboard.
Not sure how tough your laws are in Kansas on exhaust.
There are infinite exhausts at your disposal and everyone has an opinion on them.
Some quite costly, some not so.
I put on a set of true duals and used the B&E mufflers that are from stock mufflers, however modified internally. Just in case I was out of state as I am so often. I get alot of positive comments on the sound.
What year is your EGC?
