Ok, got the used swing arm (new to me) to replace my broken one. They are side by side in this picture. I welded on a brace top and bottom where the old one broke and modified the stock spacer by welding on a washer after removing the exact same width of the washer from the spacer. I got a new spherical bearing kit from custom cycle engineering and will be painting the arm and then putting the bike back together. It is going to be so nice to be back on the bike.

Thank you all for the help this site is awesome.

I'm glad the swingarm worked out. With the mods you've made I can't see you ever having this problem again, if fact with the nice work I'm seeing I wonder if you couldn't have fixed the old one. How did you get it done so fast?
I agree with Eglder05, that job looks a lot nicer than some of the ones I've seen from bike shops. If you can, consider spending a few more bucks and a little more time and get it powder coated.

Yes. Definitely get it powder coated. No sense half-stepping at this point.
I would like to but I can't wait even one more day for the bike to be back together. Already painted it and it will be dry in the morning and I will be riding again saturday.
There's one big difference with ride str-8 and yours, the axle adjusters help but you also need to beef up your axle spacers on the inside of the swing arm, if you look at ride str-8 he made new axle spacers that were much wider on the side that touches the swing arm to help spread the torque out and to keep from pinching the metal, I'd look around at a machine shop and see if you could get the spacers made and you should be good to go, I know guys with over 80,000 miles on 01's with ride st-8's design without issues
Does anyone still make these for an 01 EG Classic?
The problem that I found with my 99 Ultra was the axle is 3/4" but the threads are 5/8" putting too much pressure on the inside of the arm & putting at a bind. I had a machinist machine down the nut (looked like a lug nut for the older mag wheels that had a shank go through the wheel)
I also beefed up the swing arm
Which I still have. I am in the process of going to a modified 2008 swing arm to run a 180 rear tire. So if anyone wants it, 20.00 plus shipping.
