Leaving Monday heading tothe Iron Horse motocycle lodge in NC. Going down by highway, then heading over to Lynchbuurg to visit my old pal Jack Danniels for the day, then back to the campsite, and heading out inthe morning. Taking the Blue Ridge all the way back.(i'm from the Philly area). Was planning to stay at High Country Motorcycle camp in Feruson, than head down to Willville Motorcycle camp afhter that. Then hope to find a campsite somwhere around Shenandoah. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Have the prime rib at Ironhorse and tell John and Charlene I said hey.
There is a closure on the BRP north of Mt Pisgah area, I think it is MP 399 up to 405 or 407. aobut 5 miles or so that is a big slide risk right now.
You may want to check the NPS web site before leaving Ironhorse for detour routes on any closures.
Sounds like a good trip enjoy and be safe.
