I bought a heavy air breather for an 09 road king. I am having the bike worked on so it is ready to ride when I get back from a deployment. Can someone tell me exactly what one needs to do in order to make sure the heavy breather is installed correctly. I am getting bits and pieces of information and just want to make sure its done right.
I purchased the "chip" for lack of a better term, you know the $400.00 part that calibrates the fuel air mixture. Is this the same as a map, or better than a map? Also does the bike still need to be dyno tuned to get the optimal settings out of the "chip"? Can someone give me a 101 level course on this topic?
