Curious what some of the 96" guys feel bottom of the rpm range is for cruising along in any particular gear. I'm new to HD's and big cruisers but my bike seems to do ok chugging along at about 2000 to 2100 rpm. Anything below 2000 and it's obviously not happy. Seems happy in the 2200 to 2400 range. there seems to be a few speeds where if you shift down it seems revvy, go back up a gear and you get close to that 2000 mark. Yeah i know go faster. sometimes that tough to do when your stuck behind ten cars!
I just installed slip ons and se cleaner and the SERT and it seems mine likes 2500 or higher now. I'm going to get it dyno tuned and hopfully it will like the 2200 range again cause thats 65mph in OD (perfect for the sound system).
