For our 17th Anniversary the wife picked me up something I have wanted to do for some time. A brand new Chrome Nacelle, $480 out the door from our local Harley Dealer. I always thought they were more expensive than that so I never really looked into it as I am painting the scoot and figured I would just paint that as well. Individually the pieces are crazy money but they offer the complete kit with the everyday price listed above. Changes the whole look of the front end ... very happy to say the least!
The Left and right side, Riser Trim Cover and spear all came as a kit. To buy separate I was quoted at the dealer around $250 per side on the nacelle and the spear and cover are somewhere around $50 - $75 each ... I have the exact numbers for the separates but it was irrelevant when we were told they offered the complete kit.
Happy Anniversary, nice present and nice upgrade. What did you get the wifey?
(She rolls her eyes when I have to have something for the scoot) She has a Hair Studio that runs out of our basement. As silly as it is to me she wanted a new pair of sheers that where over six hundred bucks! Well needless to say we only buy for the kids on the holidays etc. so we both spoiled ourselves this time. At least hers will pay for themselves
