Im looking for a real comfy rear backrest for the wife that will fit on the standard sized sissy bar. She has severe lower back pain and when I got rid of the BMW LT she is hanging up her helmet. I checked out the HD pads but they dont seem to add much lower back support. Any suggestions?

Friend had the same issue. What we did was to take a RK pad - 13" x 9" & mount it. Had to modify the mount somewhat but it holds well. Attached a small tool roll bag beneath it. Used a blood pressure bag to adjust it. It works very well for her. She pumps it up as she needs & has a monitor to check her BP also! lol
