Default 08 Known Issues

Can anyone link me to a page that lists any known issues on the 08 Ultra?
One i have seen mentioned a few times is the "fuel filter mod"?

Thanks, want to review all i can before a trip to Maine in Aug.

By "Fuel filter mod" are you referring to the recall? If the bike had been taken in it should have been fixed. I think a dealer can check if you give them the VIN.

The main issue is it's a Harley.

Fuel filter shell recall, ABS reflash service bulletin. The rest of the complaints are usually related to personal fitting issues/riding style or due to modifications that have caused the problems. No my bike is not stock and I don't work for HD or own HD stock.

Thanks for the info prostar!
I have the same problem with the rubber gasket on my front brake reservoir oozing a little fluid. Tightening the screws a little more didn't help and neither did loosening them a bit.

I thought the screws being slightly offset diagonally might be the cause, and because it's my first Harley I just figured it came with the territory and I would have to live with it. I am still under warranty though I will be taking her in for sure.

Thanks again.

Just traded my 08 UC. Great bike with no problems. Most of the little problems were corrected on bikes built 12/07 or later.
