Just installed this device on my 09 Ultra today. It interfaces your stock HD helmet mike to your Zumo 550 to make and receive cell phone calls. Install was easy to tap into the radio plug. Ordered from James at( hdbomm.com) for $109 shipped.

Oh yea....you need to have a blue tooth phone!

Is there a hard wired device connection between the HD bomm and the bluetooth device (GPS) and what connections are involved?

Yes there is. It comes with the Bomm kit. It's a cable with a 2.5mm mic jack you plug into the Zumo.

If you go to his website you can download a pdf file that will show exactly what you get and what you need to do.
