Anyone re-chrome muffler heat shields?
Anybody ever pay to re-chrome a set of muffer heat shields? Just trying to get a ballpark on how much I might be looking at.
Specifically, Monster Ovals.
Think I could get it done for $200 or less? Just the main body, not the end caps.

+3 I'm also interested since I scratched the crap out of my Rinehart front shield trying to get a melted microfiber towel off (don't ask).
It's $125 from the dealer for a new one.

Haven't had any chromeing done in awhile. In the past I simply looked around my area and found a small shop that chromes and price was right. I have to say this was a rebuild and I had a lot of parts chromed.
