What are options to mount a standard 12volt car stereo in a batwing fairing?
Is there a mounting kit designed to accomodate that style radio? I know the opening "as is" is too large.
My fairing I purchased used has no stereo and want to add a marine style stereo.
Thanks

Try Hawgwired. I think more clean than biketronics and istallation is very easy
I have a Sony wich sound well, more better than OEM ons
I just installed a Sony deck with BT kit. It was super easy to install. before I started I got all the tools I thought I was going to need out of my tool box. Turned out it was mostly plug and play except for soldering a few connections and shrink tubing them. Hog tunes looked just as simple, I went with BikeTronics because I could get all of the stuff from Dennis Kirk a little cheaper with free overnight shipping. Either way you go, you will be happy I am sure.
I have used the biketronics kit and have had great success with them, but I also use a arc audio amp and speakers kit to make the speakers perform the way they should perform and sound a lot better than just the chip amp built into the radio
