Front Brake
Anyone felt that the front brake is squishy feeling on the 07 FLHT? Need to possibly check the fluid levels but have not yet, just wondering about anyone else out there.
If it "Feels" squishy, it might be a bad plunger assy...
Have seen 1 07 come in and the lever kept moving back to grip (Ever so slowly).....
Figured the piston seals were bad....
Disassembled it and found that the piston and spring assy cut into the bore of the master cylinder.....
Could have been a 1 time thing, but take a look at your fluid, and if you see it has a Shimmer in the top, and the fluid is still moving as you squeeze the lever, you might have a need for a new master cylinder, or just a rebuild kit...
Check fluid LEVEL FIRST, and remember, it is DOT 4, so keep CLEAN, LINT FREE Rags wrapped around the opening as you remove the cap.....
That stuff will take the powder coating off of the handlebar control assys if you are not careful....

Quick question: ABS light. Should this be flashing when you start up? 2010 FLHT> The owners manual says one thing, my other FLHT doesn't do this. (2009). Seems the ABS has a mind of it's own. Grabs and releases at slow speeds???? An uneasy feeeling at best. Guess I'm headed for the Shop on Monday.
Feed back would be greatly appreciated.
