Wow! Thanks for all the fantastic feedback! I think that you have all swayed me to the C&C seat. I do seem to remember reading that one comment from the guy that preferred his Corbin, but that's about the only one.
Dave, that seat looks fantastic! Your stitch pattern is pretty much what I have in mind, but I want to see if they can do it in a blue stitch that will closely match the color of my ride.
Drew, if I can't trust a Dr. who can I trust? I'll be sure to mention that everyone loves their seats when I place my order.
I was going to put the Sport Tour on my EGC but went with the Fastback being my wife dosnt ride as much.....Like it alot,I also have the Solo on my 06 Deluxe and no complaints.
Man this is making the decission easier all of the time. Sounds good to go test ride a few thats for sure even get the wifes input from her lovely impressions. With their educated input I think we should be able to walk away happy as everyone else is.
Yes I am in the same market for a good seet. Went through the Corbin factory a couple weeks ago but everyon that I sat on did seem hard. Have a buddy with one and he does not like either. I think I will be giving C&C my business also and they are close enough I will make an appointment and ride in for sure.
They all seem hard at first compaired to factory seats. Like '05Train said, needs some break in time. I'm just not sure whats gets broke in, the seat or your ****!
Just ordered a rain/uv sun cover from J&P Cycle (2010 Cat. pg 139 $39.99 920-094) mainly to cover when in direct sun.I have the gel & it gets pretty hot when parked in direct sun. Last long trip (as long as they get for me anymore) was about 420 miles in 7.5 hours 2 up. So we take alot of breaks to streach our old tired old bones & for me to have a smoke! Not a real long ride but, still no complaints!

I ordered blue stitching in mine also. They have several different shades of blue. Chuck sent an e-mail with pictures of the different threads, and warned that they always look darker sewed into the black background of the seat.
I've had the C&C Sport Tour for about 3 months. I've had 1 8 hr day in the seat and was very much surprised at how comfortable it was for the time. I have the leather and gel insert and it makes my butt sink into the seat. I'm not tall and I can set both feet firmly flat on the ground. Make sure you taalk with Chuck at C&C before you order. There are some questions he'll ask you and this will help make sure what you want.
I haven't tried a C&C and am happy with my Corbin. Half the battle with comfort is not the seat, but good quality suspension. My wife and I are even more comfortable on the Corbin since I fitted Ohlins shocks!
