Waterproof Nuvi
The Garmin Nuvi 500 and 550 are both waterproof. They actually have a video where they operate them under water in an aquarium. I own the 550 and use it on my boat too.Its a good solid unit and does the job. Hope this helps.

I run a Garmin 765 with the garmin mount stuck onto my tach glass and just carry a ziploc bag when it rains.
I don't know what others think but I find the Mp3 files on the SD card in the Garmin sound better than Mp3 files played on a recorded CD through the OEM HK system...
