HD makes a kit for the front end. In my opinion, this is best left for the professionals because the front end can be a bit complicated. For the rear, I like these:
I used Progressive 412 shocks on the rear and a Corbin Holloywood Solo seat. Sitts nice and low. If you want lower yet you could get progressive front springs also. Stock rear shocks are 13" I went with 12".[sm=nxsmile.gif]
There would be less of a change with the lowering kit than with the low profile shocks. The lowering kit uses the stock shocks so your ride is still good. I did not notice much change at all. Yes it is worth doing if you need to drop the bike because of your height and I think it really looks cool. I would go ahead and drop the front an inch if I were you.
I just lowered rear and am very happy with ride and sitting position. Ride quality improved with Progressives over air shocks, not as mushy. One thing if just lowering rear, I would suggest changing windshield, for it changes your angle looking ahead. Instead of looking over after lowering rear it causes you to look through it. I went with 8" tall windshield from stock height of 12" Big improvement.
