Default Advice on rear speaker/intercom set up

I have decided to add rear speakers set-up and intercom to my 05 EG. What systems do you recommend?

The earlier thread on Hog tunes sounds like the way to go as for as speakers, but what about pod set up and intercom.

thanks,Kevin

Definitely go with the Hogtunes speakers, they are louder at half volume than the OE ones were at max volume.

I am using HogTunes and the stock HD radion (Ultra), so the CD and CB are part of the system. As for pods...I'd think you could get an Ultra pod set up...maybe a wrecking yard or order it from the dealer.

Ed,
Yes I have the Ultra radio with CD IC AM/FM WB and CB. I also installed an XM. I just replaced all 4 speakers with the Hogtunes. I highly recommend them. I am also very happy with the Ultra radio and am glad I bought the bike already set up. I think you would be happy with it if you decide to go that way, it just seems way overpriced to me when I look at the prices in the catalog. I don't have any experience with aftermarket audio equipment for motorcycles. Every bike I have ever had that had a radio or IC on it came that way.
I would check http://eglidegoodies.com/ They have some options that might be suitable.

I installed the Ultra radio complete with Hog tune speakers in front only now.

apologies, been out of town. I have a custom, failed to mention that, so no I don't have an ultra radio. I know that I am going to purchase the hog speakers for the fronts, but was wondering about the rears like the ultra has and possibly an intercom. I looked at eglides.com that was posted and they have a rear 6.5" rear set up, but w/o volume control.

I installed the ultra radio and overlay harness for intercom and rear speakers.
